System Analyst (Bank solutions)

We are looking for a System Analyst to join our team working on a platform for an EMI/Bank, including our own CBS (Core Banking System). This position can be remote or based in our Cyprus office.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting and analyzing business requirements for product development: requirements for UI, API enhancements between frontend and backend, backend improvements for banking software, and integrations with the CBS
• Preparing technical documentation and task descriptions for the development team
• Solving analytical tasks, designing architectural solutions, and configuring the CBS
• Collaborating with development, testing, product, and design teams

Key competencies:

• 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst, with mandatory experience in banking projects
• Experience with projects related to implementing and developing CBS, opening and maintaining accounts, and enhancing banking backend systems
• Knowledge of business process modeling methodologies and tools, with the ability to present ideas through diagrams
• Proficiency in UML and BPMN notations
• Ability to independently gather information for tasks and research
• Understanding client-server architecture principles
• Proficiency in English at an Intermediate level or higher

Would be a plus:

• Experience in "from scratch" projects
• Knowledge and ability to write SQL queries
• Experience with Jira / Confluence
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Understanding of UX/UI fundamentals
