Senior System Analyst (Core Team)
Cyprus / Remote
We are looking for a Systems Analyst to join our Core Team, either remotely or at our office in Cyprus.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements for product development
- Preparing technical documentation and task descriptions for the development team
- Solving analytical tasks and participating in the creation of architectural solutions
- Collaborating with development, QA, product, and design teams
Requirements
Key competencies:
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst
- Experience in FinTech projects is required (specifically internet acquiring or payment processing)
- Proficiency in business process modeling methodologies and tools, with the ability to convey ideas through diagrams
- Experience in documenting system integrations
- Knowledge of UML and BPMN notations
- Ability to write SQL queries
- Independence in gathering information for tasks and research
- Understanding of client-server architecture principles
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
- English proficiency for reading technical documentation
Would be a plus:
- Experience with or familiarity with banking processing systems (Smart Vista, Tieto, Compass, or similar systems)
- Knowledge of the ISO 8583 standard and an understanding of financial message exchange principles
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience in projects in the international market
- Understanding of UX/UI basics
